Hi, I am Dirshaye.
I am a Software Engineer at Emma — The Sleep Company in Lisbon, where I contribute to backend microservices, event-driven workflows, and platform architectures within the Operations Backbone team, supporting internal logistics and warehouse automation. In my production work, I build with Go, TypeScript/Fastify, PostgreSQL, AWS (SQS, EC2, S3), Docker, Kubernetes, and Grafana.
Beyond enterprise systems, my engineering work includes building full-stack platforms such as Visit Wolaita (an interactive cultural tourism and AI platform with serverless edge compute and Google Gemini assistant) and Semayat Hotel (a production hospitality management and booking platform engineered with Cloudflare Workers, Cloudflare D1/R2, and automated payment processing).
I care deeply about software quality end to end: clean API contracts, observability, robust error handling, and performance tuning that holds up reliably under real-world usage.
